Pre-Amphibious

Designed to develop youth water confidence with a focus on technique and conditioning, as well as physical and mental wellness, Pre-Amphibious is targeted towards beginner and intermediate swimmers, ages 5 years and up.

 

PA  sessions include training in:

  • water safety

  • water confidence and conditioning

  • memory, observation and concentration skills

  • leadership development & youth empowerment

Attire: Swimsuit, Goggles, Swim Cap (optional) and Water Bottle

Equipment: Provided

Level 1

Entrance Requirement: Complete a legal 50m Freestyle, 50 Backstroke and 50 Breaststroke.

 

Focus is on stroke mechanics, technique, developing butterfly, underwater kicking, Introduction to race starts and turns.

 

Attire: Swimsuit, Goggles, Swim Cap and Water Bottle

Equipment: Provided

Level 2
(Juniors)

Entrance Requirement: Complete a legal 50m of all four competitive strokes, 100 IM and knowledge of competitive starts and turns.

 

Focus is on stroke mechanics, technique, conditioning and building toward legal 100m of each stroke and 200 IM.

 

Basic interval training and light dryland activities to develop strength and flexibility.

Attire: Swimsuit, Goggles, Swim Cap and Water Bottle

Equipment: Pull Buoy, Fins and Paddles.

Level 3
(Elite)

Entrance Requirement: Complete a legal 100m of all four competitive strokes, 200 IM, and competitive starts and turns. (8th grade and above) - Coach Discretion

 

Focus is on stroke mechanics, technique, conditioning, and a legal 200m of all four competitive strokes.

 

Dryland will be integrated into the overall training with an increase in intensity and duration for general strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and competitive drive.

 

Equipment: Fins, Paddles, Kickboard, forward Snorkel, Pull Buoy
